Tree Planting on Kingman Blvd.
Join our local Tree Keepers with Trees Forever in partnership with the City of Des Moines Public Works for a morning of tree planting on Kingman Blvd between 35th and 42nd Street. This area is just a block north of the Roosevelt Cultural District. Bring a shovel and gloves. Additional tools will be available for use. Wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Refreshments will be provided.
