Summer Street Party at the Roosevelt Cultural District!

Hosted by #ShopRoosevelt, the Roosevelt Cultural District, and the Des Moines Community Playhouse's Curtain Crowd, this block party features food trucks, live music, kids activities, and a live visual arts creation. 

Food Trucks: Sweet Treats Ice Cream Company & Waab’s Piggin’ Out!
Music! Kids Activities! Shopping specials at many Roosevelt Shops!
Battle of the Brushes: Live painting with a chance to bid on the artwork at the end!  

"Meredith Willson's The Music Man" will be on the Des Moines Community Playhouse stage a 7:30 PM that evening. Tickets are still available online at dmplayhouse.com or by phone at 515-277-6261. The Playhouse's Curtain Crowd, a social group for young adults 18-35, will be hosting a pre-show event in the theatre's lobby.
