NATIONAL HUNGER WEEK

With National Hunger Week starting next week, we have scheduled a joint event with Des Moines University at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Supervisor Angela Connolly will give an update on a new initiative implemented by The Polk County Board of Supervisors called the Partnership for Hunger Free Polk County.  They are implementing projects throughout Polk County to help make food access easier.  
If you wish to have lunch, bring your own or you can purchase in the Summerfield cafeteria at Des Moines University.
