Drake Neighborhood Forest Ave. Row Homes Ribbon Cutting Ceremony co-hosted by NDC

DEV Partners announces the opening of an 18-unit middle-density housing development in the vibrant Drake neighborhood, set for August 2025. The project activates the Forest Avenue corridor north of Drake University, offering six two-story, two-bedroom units averaging 1,100 square feet and stylish 600-square-foot one-bedroom flats.

Located within walking distance of Drake University’s campus, sporting venues, and the bustling commercial area known as "Dog Town," the project connects residents to the energy of the university district and nearby neighborhoods, including Downtown and Beaverdale. Supported by local partners Peoples Bank, Neighborhood Development Corporation, City of Des Moines, and Iowa Economic Development Authority’s Workforce Housing Tax Credit Program, the project enhances community growth and livability.
